   i do agree with you, Beau, that we’ve evolved into a team that has more use for ‘07 Monta. i just don’t think he’s psychologically willing to go there because of the specific dynamic with Stephen Curry, and perhaps only Stephen Curry. Monta seems to believe he’s entitled to do certain things that aren’t currently playing out as the best interest of the team.

   it’s not some mental block or supreme confidence. he has showed a willingness to play it differently with others on the floor, even Coby Karl. does he think he’s a better option than Curry, but not always a better one than 10-day contract guy “x”? that defies logic.

   i went back to the beginning of the LiveChat and we actually seem to agree about much of the Monta psychology, with the exception of my specific feelings about the Curry angle. not sure why you viewed my trust commentary as so contentious, but i apologize for fueling the subsequent argument.
