Anthony Randolph to miss time with knee injury?
(UPDATE: The Contra Costa Times is reporting that a Warriors spokesman described the knee injury as a left knee contusion, although there were no further details on the examination with Dr. Chen.)
By Geoff Lepper
48minutes.netAnthony Randolph was absent from practice Wednesday and listed on the Warriors’ official injury report as being “questionable” with a “bruised lower back.”
But coach Don Nelson reported after practice that there may be more to Randolph’s aches and pains — namely a knee injury of unknown parameters.
“Anthony Randolph has a tail bruise and other issues that he’s going to work on,” Nelson said, “So he may miss some time.”
Asked what the other issues were, Nelson revealed the other problem.
“Well, he’s also complaining of some knee pain,” Nelson said. “He’s just not right. I think you could tell.”
According to accounts of the Warriors’ 113-107 exhibition loss to the Lakers on Wednesday, Randolph was clearly slowed after taking another awkward fall onto his back during the first quarter; he was originally hurt on Oct. 12 against the Clippers when Baron Davis blocked his shot and Randolph couldn’t break his fall.
Randolph finished Wednesday with one point, one rebound and five fouls in 20 minutes.
The Warriors said in the injury report that Randolph was scheduled to be examined today by team doctor Frank Chen. There was no word Wednesday afternoon on the results of that examination.
Nelson said he didn’t know if Randolph would have to miss time in the regular season, although he didn’t rule it out.
“We just want to get him healthy,” Nelson said. “He hasn’t been healthy for over a week.”

He will be ready in a year or two according to what Nelson said privately to Robert Rowell, who is considering voiding his contract.

May I just say nice to read a relief to search out person who actually understands what they may be talking about on the internet. You certainly find out how to bring a problem to light and allow it to very important. Even more people need to learn it and understand this particular section of the story. I cannot believe you are not very popular because you obviously have the gift.

Hi! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Appreciate it!
